小青瓦。小青瓦，又叫粘土小瓦、蝴蝶瓦、阴阳瓦等，是我国传统的屋面用瓦。小青瓦也是以粘土为原料，经搅拌压制成型，在风干后再焙烧制成。形状为弧形片状，其规格尺寸各地不一，大致长度为170~200毫米，宽度为130~180毫米。与之相配合的还有盖瓦和檐口滴水瓦等。对小青瓦的质量应进行认真检查验收，检查时既要看成色又要听声音，好的瓦应该是色泽一致、尺寸相同、弯曲弧度相等，轻轻敲击时声音清脆。对瓦片中含有石灰块杂质、砂眼多、有裂缝、欠火较重、质量差的青瓦，一律不得使用。
